Behaviour as communication - Supervison and support

Supervision / support session facilitated by a member of the EP team and Mental Health in Education Advisor or SEMH advisory teacher

This session focuses on collaborative problem-solving with a Specialist SEMH Educational Psychologist and SEMH Advisory Teacher or a Mental Health in Education (MHiE) professional.

Support can relate to individual children and young people (CYP), groups, or whole-school issues.

The session may include identifying next steps, implementation support, and assistance with intervention planning.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own cases, analyse and reflect on existing information, review current approaches, and explore next steps collaboratively. The session provides a supportive space to strengthen understanding of behaviour as communication and to develop effective, responsive strategies to meet identified needs.

Must have attended behaviour as communication training package.
