Henshaws Society for the Blind provides expert support advice and training to people affected by sight loss in Oldham.
We provide a day of IT training to people with sight loss.
Our aim is to enable people living with sight loss to become more independent.
Anyone with a visual impairment can access the support of Henshaws Society for the Blind sessions and these are free to attend however you do need to pre-book and therefore need to contact them before attending the sessions.
Henshaws support any family member or carer where visual impairment has an impact on their lives.
Services include advice and support on the child’s development, suitable aids and equipment, signposting to other specialist organisations.
