Are you a parent or carer of an autistic child?
We provide free 1-2-1s with one of our friendly wraparound coordinators, where you can discuss any questions you have about how best to support your loved one, no diagnosis is needed. Our team all have lived experience of autism, so we can relate to your situation and offer strategies, share our experiences, and signpost to local services and websites for more information.
We also offer virtual group sessions, during which we discuss a wide range of topics and provide strategies and signposting for further support.
Autism Central is a peer education programme, commissioned by NHS England with regional hubs across England. It aims to build knowledge and understanding of autism and empower families and carers to advocate for autistic people they support. Local support helps families to get the right understanding and adjustments in place across the services they use.
Everything the programme does is informed by, or co-produced with autistic people, families and carers. Please take a look at our website to book a 1-2-1 session or to see what peer education sessions we have coming up.
We are open from Monday to Friday from 9am – 5pm, but we can sometimes accommodate evening sessions by request.
