Since 1949, the Mental Health Foundation has been the UK’s leading charity for everyone’s mental health.
Our vision is for a world with good mental health for all. With prevention at the heart of what we do, we aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.
We will drive change towards a mentally healthy society for all, and support communities, families and individuals to live mentally healthier lives, with a particular focus on those at greatest risk.
Referral details: If you are concerned that you are developing a mental health problem you should seek the advice and support of your GP as a matter of priority. If you are in distress and need immediate help and are unable to see a GP, you should visit your local A&E. The Mental Health Foundation is a charity specialising in research and policy development, with a focus on preventing mental health problems. We are not able to advice people directly on their personal circumstances. Contact one of our offices or fill out the enquiry form on our website.
